India, also known as Republic of  India, OUT OF THE BOX sharing information of India. India is a Seventh largest country by area, and Second largest country by its population. India has a total area of about 3,287,273 sq km. It is country in South Asia and The Capital of India is New Delhi. India is bounded by Indian Ocean, Arabian Sea, Bay of Bengal, it shares land borders with Pakistan, Nepal, China, Bangladesh, Bhutan and Mayanmar.
This country is home to the Indus Valley Civilization and to many historic religions, the Indian subcontinent is famous for its commercial and cultural prosperity since ancient times.  Four religions - Hindu, Buddha, Jain and Sikh were born in India, while the advent of Zoroastrianism, connected religion, Christianity and Islam came in the first century in India and these religions also made India a nation of diverse religions.  Has played the main role.

In the beginning of the 18th century, the British East India Company arrived in India and after the independence war of 1857, the United Kingdom had begun to rule India, but after the struggle for independence, India finally attained independence in 15th August 1947.

 In 2016, GDP and P.P.P.  According to the Indian economy became the world's sixth largest economy.  In 1991, the economy of India was greatly improved, and India also entered into a fast growing economy and India was called a new industrialized country.

 According to Nuclear power and regional forces, India has the world's third largest army and in all the countries, India is on sixth place in the expenditure on military expenditure.  India has 29 states and 7 union territories.  India is a plural, multilingual and very ethnic country.

2500 BC - India is home to many civilizations and empires.



 1600 - British arrived in India and started trading under the British East India Company and by 1850 most of India had their rule.

 1858 - British Raj - The rule of the British Government in India started running.

 1920 - Conflicts for Independence - Nationalist leader Mahatma Gandhi declared a non-violence movement against British rule, he has been an important contributor to independence in India.

 1947 - Partition - India was divided into two countries and both were given freedom, first secular religion, but Hindus of India and Pakistan of second Muslim religion  Three wars have been fought between Kashmir and Kashmir.

 1950 - Indian Republic was established.  This year Indian National Congress became the main party of India.

 1962 - There was a border war between India and Pakistan.

 1971 - India and Pakistan have had a war for East Pakistan, which resulted in the formation of Bangladesh.

 1974 - India has organized its first Nuclear Test.

 1990 - Government has made a lot of efforts to improve economic growth and open all the way to global trade and investment.

 2000 - India's population reaches 1 billion.

 2014 - In the 30 years of the Hindu Nationalist Party BJP, the biggest win by any other party in India except Congress.
 2019 - BJP win the election again, and present Prim minister Narendra Modi.

1. A floating Post Office.

India has the largest postal network in the world with more than 1,55,010 post offices all over India. The floating Post office is in Dal Lake, Srinagar. It was inaugurated in 2011.

2. Kumbh mela gathering visible from space.

In 2011 Kumbh mela the gathering was so huge that the crowd was visible from space. It was world largest peaceful gathering event attended by more than 60 million people.

3. Wettest place on Earth.

Mawsynram is the wettest place in the world with 11871 mm of average rainfall. it is a small village in maghalay state, and the village is 15 km away from cherrapunji.

4. Steel wires used for Bandra worli Sealink is equal to the Earth's circumference.

The Sealink is in Mumbai. It took total of 2,57,00,000 man hours for completion.

5. World's Biggest family.

It is in Baktwang village, Mizoram. In this family Ziona Chan has 39 wives, 94 children and 33 grandchildren. The family lives in a 100 room.
